Basketball Recap: Tuscarora Snaps Nine-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tuscarora). They managed a 67-63 win over the South Hagerstown Rebels on Friday. For the Titans, this counts as revenge for the 69-63 victory the Rebels walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.

Tuscarora's win ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-2. As for South Hagerstown, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Tuscarora will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Frederick on January 3, 2025. Tuscarora is facing Frederick at the right time seeing as Frederick is stuck on a three-game losing streak. South Hagerstown also won't see the court for a while: their next match is against Linganore at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
