New Albany won the last time they faced Ripley and things went their way on Friday too. Everything went the New Albany Bulldogs' way against the Ripley Tigers as the New Albany Bulldogs made off with an 82-60 win. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Amari Hubbard was his usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double on 22 points and nine boards. Another player making a difference was Kylan King, who went 6 of 8 on his way to 15 points and five rebounds.

New Albany smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in nine consecutive games.

New Albany's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-4. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.3 points per game. As for Ripley, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. New Albany will square off against Senatobia at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ripley, they will take on Itawamba Agricultural at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
