Soccer Recap: Fairhope Takes a Loss

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Fairhope and Spanish Fort had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Fairhope Pirates fell just short of the Spanish Fort Toros by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. That's two games in a row now that the Pirates have lost by just one goal.

Fairhope's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6-1. As for Spanish Fort, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-3-3.

Looking ahead, Fairhope will take on Robertsdale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Spanish Fort, they will be taking part in a tournament against St. Luke's Episcopal at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
