Baseball Recap: Winfield's Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak on the Road

The Winfield Warriors narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Holt Indians 3-2.

Warren Conrad spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on four hits and racked up seven Ks.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Colin Morse, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Winfield's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-11. As for Holt, they dropped their record down to 3-19 with the loss, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season.
