Softball Recap: Neillsville/Granton Comes Up Short

After flying high against Owen-Withee on Thursday, Neillsville/Granton came back down to earth. The Warriors came up short against the Gilman Pirates on Tuesday, falling 14-4. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Pirates recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Neillsville/Granton's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Gilman, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-5.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Neillsville/Granton beat the Pirates by a score of 3-2 later that day.
