Basketball Recap: Potosi/Cassville Takes a Loss

Potosi/Cassville lost against Albany/Monticello back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Potosi/Cassville were dealt a 78-37 defeat at the hands of Albany/Monticello. While losing is never fun, Potosi/Cassville can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 244th, while Albany/Monticello is ranked 22nd).

Potosi/Cassville now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Albany/Monticello, they pushed their record up to 15-0 with the win, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season.

The future could be bright for both Potosi/Cassville and Albany/Monticello: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Potosi/Cassville will look to extend Highland's eight-game losing streak when the meet at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Similarly, Albany/Monticello will try to hand Juda their third-straight loss when the two meet at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
