Football Game Preview: J.P. Stevens Hawks vs. Roselle Park Panthers

The J.P. Stevens Hawks are taking a road trip to take on the Roselle Park Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. J.P. Stevens comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

J.P. Stevens' offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Metuchen on Friday. They took a blow against the Bulldogs, falling 53-0.

Meanwhile, the third road matchup was the charm for Roselle Park, as they earned their first away victory of the season. They were the clear victors by a 35-12 margin over Highland Park on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won four games by 23 points or more so far this season.

Roselle Park now has a winning record of 4-3. As for J.P. Stevens, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.

J.P. Stevens skirted past Roselle Park 20-18 in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hawks since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
