Montrose is a perfect 3-0 against Gunnison since August of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Red Hawks will host the Cowboys at 6:00 p.m. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Montrose sitting on 13 straight victories and Gunnison on five.

Montrose had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Village on Saturday. The Red Hawks put the hurt on the Mountaineers with a sharp 3-0 win.

Meanwhile, Gunnison made easy work of Roaring Fork on Friday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

While Gunnison won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-15, 26-24, 25-11.

Gunnison's win bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Montrose, their victory bumped their record up to 13-0.
