Bishop McGuinness had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.1 goals) and they went ahead and made it eight on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Leadership Academy Falcons as they made off with an 8-0 win. The result was nothing new for Bishop McGuinness, who have now won eight contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Leadership Academy from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Kristen Dixon-Velez led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

Bishop McGuinness' victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-2. The road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four matches. As for Leadership Academy, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-7 record.

Looking ahead, Bishop McGuinness will head out to challenge Oak Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
