Baseball Recap: Quitman Takes a Loss

Quitman and South Side pushed the score to 19-1 the last time they played South Side, but on Tuesday defenses reigned supreme. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Hornet by a score of 2-1. The Bulldogs just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Quitman now has a losing record of 6-7. As for South Side, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

Coming up, Quitman will face off against Bigelow at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for South Side, they will be playing at home against St. Joseph at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
