Basketball Recap: Magnolia School of Excellence Takes a Loss

Magnolia School of Excellence was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They were dealt an 83-47 loss at the hands of the Woodlawn-Shreveport Knights. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Woodlawn-Shreveport this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 57-53 back in November of 2024.

Magnolia School of Excellence's defeat dropped their record down to 4-20. As for Woodlawn-Shreveport, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-22 record this season.

Magnolia School of Excellence does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Woodlawn-Shreveport, they will square off against North Caddo at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
