            Volleyball Preview: Lake Cormorant vs. George County Rebels        
        
		
        
        
            Lake Cormorant will face off against the George County Rebels at 10:00  a.m.  on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Lake Cormorant comes in on 12 and George County on three.
Lake Cormorant is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup  on Monday. They blew past Neshoba Central 3-0.
 Lake Cormorant not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Neshoba Central between 14 and 17 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-14,  25-16.

 Lake Cormorant's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Emily Huerta led the charge by  getting 16  digs and two  aces. Huerta has been hot, having  posted two or more  aces the last five times she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Rebecca Rohrbacher, who  had 13  digs.
Meanwhile, George County hadn't done well against Hancock recently (they were 0-8 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way  on Monday. The Rebels put the hurt on the Hawks with a sharp  3-0 win.
 George County walked away with the   victory (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-19,  25-16.
 Lake Cormorant's win bumped their record up to 33-8. As for George County, their victory bumped their record up to 30-12.
