Softball Recap: Warren Comes Up Short

Warren fell victim to Kirbyville and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 22-0 to the Kirbyville Wildcats. The Warriors were not able to make up for their defeat to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Warren dropped their record down to 2-8 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Kirbyville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Warren will square off against Orangefield at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Orangefield will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Warren surely won't give up without a fight. As for Kirbyville, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Kirbyville Wildcats face off against Buna Cougars at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. They are strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.4 runs per game this season.
