Soccer Game Preview: Hamilton vs. Oconomowoc

The Hamilton Chargers will head out to square off against the Oconomowoc Raccoons at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Hamilton is headed into Thursday's match following a draw, the team's first since August 30. They and Brookfield Central finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Oconomowoc was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Kettle Moraine.

With that draw, Hamilton's record moves to 5-3-2. As for Oconomowoc, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6-2.

Hamilton beat Oconomowoc by a goal when the teams last played back in October of 2024, winning 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Chargers since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
