Paradise Valley had to kick off their season on the road on Wednesday, but they showed no ill effects. They took down the Shadow Mountain Matadors 54-39. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Matadors recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Looking ahead, Paradise Valley will host Canyon View at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will give the Trojans their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Shadow Mountain, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Mingus at 7:00 p.m. on December 2.
