Basketball Game Preview: Warren County Wildcats vs. Hylton Bulldogs

The Warren County Wildcats and the Hylton Bulldogs will round out the year against one another at at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Warren County and four for Hylton.

Last Saturday, Warren County lost to Lafayette on the road by a 61-47 margin. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 344th, while the Rams are ranked 114th).

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Ethan Bare, who posted eight points. Another player making a difference was Jaycob Robinson, who scored nine points.

Meanwhile, Hylton was beaten by Brooke Point 81-52 on Saturday.

Warren County's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Hylton, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-10.
