Softball Recap: Greene County Has No Trouble Against Nevada

Greene County's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. Everything went their way against the Nevada Cubs as they made off with a 13-1 win. The high-scoring effort was just what the Rams needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Greene County now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Nevada, their loss was their first of the season and also makes their record 2-1.

Greene County has already played their next game, an 11-2 defeat against Ogden on the 31st. As for Nevada, they will venture away from home to square off against Prairie City-Monroe at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Mustangs' pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so the Cubs' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
