Basketball Recap: Harding County Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

On Monday, the Harding County Ranchers came up short against the Belfield Bantams and fell 65-55.

Despite the defeat, Harding County saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Ryder Hunsucker went 5 for 10 on his way to 19 points in addition to three steals and three blocks. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hunsucker has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Hunter Ginsbach, who posted ten points and three steals.

Harding County's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-2. As for Belfield, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Harding County will venture away from home to square off against McIntosh at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Belfield, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Grant County co-op [Carson/Elgin-New Leipzig/Mott-Regent] at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
