Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, T.W. Andrews couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the North Wilkes Vikings by a score of 58-55 on Friday. The Red Raiders' loss signaled the end of their 12-game winning streak.

T.W. Andrews' defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Sanai' Johnson, who dropped a double-double with 23 points and ten rebounds, and Journie Barr, who posted 19 points. Johnson is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last eight games she's played. Jana Brown was another key player, putting up three points.

Ralee Bare continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for North Wilkes, almost dropping a double-double with 24 points and nine assists. Another player making a difference was Shalyn Bare, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 12 boards.

T.W. Andrews' loss dropped their record down to 25-2. As for North Wilkes, the win was the 22nd in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 29-1.
