Volleyball Recap: Mesa Ridge Takes a Loss

Mesa Ridge lost against Cheyenne Mountain back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Grizzlies came up short against the Red-Tailed Hawks, falling 3-0. The Grizzlies just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Mesa Ridge was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-14, 25-14.

Adam Hall paced Mesa Ridge's offense, picking up four kills. Hall got some help from Aiden Meacham and his ten assists.

Mesa Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Cheyenne Mountain, their win bumped their record up to 10-3.

Looking ahead, Mesa Ridge will venture away from home to face off against Rampart at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cheyenne Mountain, they will host Greeley Central at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Red-Tailed Hawks are facing the Wildcats at the right time seeing as the Wildcats are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
