Basketball Game Preview: Southeast Lancers vs. Northeast Vikings

The Southeast Lancers will square off against the Northeast Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Southeast will be strutting in after a victory while Northeast will be coming in after a loss.

Last Monday, Southeast needed a bit of extra time to put away Commerce. They snuck past the Tigers with a 56-51 win. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Lancers considering their 20-point performance the match before.

Among those leading the charge was Eliz White, who posted 17 points along with five rebounds and four steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last ten games she's played. Another player making a difference was Camryn Sanders, who scored 13 points.

Meanwhile, Northeast came up short against Oswego on Friday, falling 45-25. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Southeast has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. Northeast's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14.

Everything came up roses for Southeast against Northeast when the teams last played back in January, as the team secured a 64-35 victory. In that game, Southeast amassed a halftime lead of 42-13, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
