Grant had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 30.3 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Wednesday. They took down the Jefferson Democrats 68-54. Given the Generals' advantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 17th, while the Democrats are ranked 147th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Grant has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a massive bump to their 11-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 78.4 points per game. As for Jefferson, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-11.
