Erath lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Port Barre, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's match. The Bobcats blew past the Red Devils 19-11 on Friday. Considering the Bobcats have won nine contests by more than seven runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory snapped Erath's losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 9-17 record. As for Port Barre, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 13-11.

Erath didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 13-4 win against Patterson on the 14th. Port Barre has also already played their next match (against Ville Platte), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
