Softball Recap: Milford's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Milford lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Hanover, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Wednesday's match. The Spartans put the hurt on the Bears with a sharp 20-10 win on Wednesday. Considering the Spartans have won six contests by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Milford moved to 8-10 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Hanover, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-15.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Milford will challenge rival Souhegan at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Hanover is set to square off against their familiar foe Hollis-Brookline at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
