Florida School for the Deaf & Blind gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Halifax Academy Knights with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Dragons not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 7, 2024 (when they won 3-0).
The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Florida School for the Deaf & Blind was: they took every set by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-8, 25-14.
Looking ahead, Florida School for the Deaf & Blind will square off against Crescent City at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Halifax Academy, they will be taking part in a tournament against Calvary Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
