Recap: Twin Valley South Panthers vs. Preble Shawnee Arrows
The Twin Valley South Panthers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They were the victim of a rough 59-37 loss at the hands of Preble Shawnee. Twin Valley South has not had much luck with Preble Shawnee recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Several Panthers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jace Thuma, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds. Jandon Ankrom was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Twin Valley South has been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season. As for Preble Shawnee, their win was their tenth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Twin Valley South will face off against Arcanum at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Arcanum focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Saturday. As for Preble Shawnee, they will head out on the road to take on Bishop Fenwick at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Ohio (Bishop Fenwick is ranked 137th, while Preble Shawnee is ranked 122nd).
