Soccer Recap: R.A. Long Picks Up Second Consecutive Win

R.A. Long took a three-goal loss the last time they faced off against Ridgefield, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Lumberjacks never let the Spudders get on the board and left with a 1-0 win on Saturday. That's two games straight that R.A. Long have won by just one goal.

The victory made it two in a row for R.A. Long and bumps their season record up to 13-8. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two contests. As for Ridgefield, their defeat ended a four-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-7-1.

As of now, neither R.A. Long nor the Spudders have any future games scheduled.
