Greenwood is a perfect 9-0 against Greenville since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Eagles will head out on the road to take on the Red Raiders at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Greenwood is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to ten runs on Friday, they were much more limited against Easley on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Green Wave by a score of 3-2.

Meanwhile, Greenville came up short against T.L. Hanna on Tuesday and fell 8-3. The Red Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Greenwood has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season. As for Greenville, the defeat was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 7-7-1.

Greenwood beat Greenville 3-0 when the teams last played back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
