Soccer Game Preview: Greeneville vs. David Crockett

Greeneville's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Volunteer 7-0. The result was nothing new for Greeneville, who have now won seven matches by five goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, after a string of six wins, David Crockett's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell just short of Tennessee by a score of 3-2. The game was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but David Crockett couldn't quite close it out.

Greeneville's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-11-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 35 goals over those five contests. As for David Crockett, their loss dropped their record down to 13-4-2.
