Volleyball Recap: Northeast Lauderdale Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Northeast Lauderdale had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Clarkdale Bulldogs by a score of 3-2 on Friday. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Northeast Lauderdale took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 19-25, 20-25, 25-19, 15-9.

Looking ahead, Northeast Lauderdale will welcome Neshoba Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Clarkdale, they are taking a road trip to challenge Wayne County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
