Baseball Recap: Union County Comes Up Short

Union County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 17-2 to the Chapman Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, with their most recent defeat being a 10-0 loss on Wednesday.

Union County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Chapman, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Union County will take on Woodruff at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Chapman, they will head out to square off against Broome at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
