Football Recap: Jefferson Takes a Loss

Jefferson came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 26-6 to the Harlem Huskies. The J-Hawks were not able to make up for their loss to the Huskies from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Hari Young produced another solid performance rushing for 80 yards and one TD on only six carries for Harlem.

With the defeat, Jefferson broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-2. As for Harlem, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Jefferson is set to challenge their familiar foe Belvidere North at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Harlem will square off against rival Guilford at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
