Softball Recap: Greater Latrobe Comes Up Short

Greater Latrobe and West Allegheny squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Greater Latrobe had to settle for second. They came up short against the Indians, falling 11-1. The Wildcats just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Greater Latrobe's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for West Allegheny, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-2.

Greater Latrobe does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for West Allegheny, they will face off against Baldwin on Thursday. The Fighting Highlanders' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so the Indians' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
