Recap: Brighton Cardinals vs. Raleigh-Egypt Pharaohs
On Monday, everything went Brighton's way against the Pharaohs as the Cardinals made off with a 57-35 victory.
It was another big night for Destiny Pruitt, who almost dropped a double-double on 20 points and nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Da'lyjah Maclin, who scored 15 points along with two steals.
Brighton is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-15 record this season. As for Raleigh-Egypt, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.
Brighton will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Chiefs at 6:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Tennessee (Craigmont is ranked 332nd, while the Cardinals are ranked 331st). As for Raleigh-Egypt, they will head out on the road to challenge the Chargers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
