Volleyball Recap: Camarillo Comes Up Short

Camarillo saw some tournament action on Friday. They fell 2-0 to the Casteel Colts. The Scorpions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Leading Casteel to victory were Isabel Penrose and Ella Witte. Penrose had 11 digs and two assists, while Witte had five digs and one assist. That assist marked the first that Witte has posted this season.

Camarillo's defeat dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Casteel, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-7.

Camarillo has already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Liberty on the 3rd. As for Casteel, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Oaks Christian on the 4th.
