Basketball Recap: Plantation Victorious

The third road contest was the charm for Plantation, as they earned their first road win of the season. They came out on top against the North Miami Beach Chargers by a score of 63-50 on Saturday.

It was another big night for Jabari Washington, who posted 30 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Plantation's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Prince Lewis, who put up 12 points.

Despite the loss, North Miami Beach still got an impressive performance from Edgar Inoamercedes, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten assists. Inoamercedes is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Shawn Pierre-Bellot, who had eight points.

Plantation's win bumped their record up to 4-8. As for North Miami Beach, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Plantation will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Nova at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Plantation is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.4 points per game this season.
