Soccer Game Preview: Blue Valley vs. Olathe Northwest

The Blue Valley Tigers will take on the Olathe Northwest Ravens on Saturday.

On Thursday, Blue Valley didn't have quite enough to beat Shawnee Mission East and fell 3-2. That's two games in a row now that Blue Valley have lost by just one goal.

Meanwhile, Olathe Northwest was not able to secure the win in their season-opener two weeks ago. They and Lawrence Free State finished up their match with a 3-3 draw.

Blue Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. Olathe Northwest's draw gives them a new season record of 0-0-1.

Blue Valley suffered a grim 5-0 defeat to Olathe Northwest when the teams last played back in October of 2016. Can the Tigers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
