The Farragut Admirals will face off against the Heritage Mountaineers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Farragut 3.3, Heritage 3.5) so any runs scored will be well earned.
The scorekeeper got an easy start on Thursday as neither Farragut nor Grace Christian Academy made it on the board until the fifth inning. The Admirals' pitcher stepped up to hand the Rams a 3-0 shutout. The Admirals haven't had any issues with the Rams recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.
Not much got past Hallie Grace Johnson, who gave up just two hits to keep Grace Christian Academy off the board.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Elsa Morrison, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and one stolen base. She is on a roll when it comes to home runs, as she's now launched at least one in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Albright, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run.
Meanwhile, Heritage was able to grind out a solid win over Lenoir City on Monday, taking the game 12-7. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mountaineers.
Katelyn Russell was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Russell was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March.
In other batting news, Autumn Brooke Perrin was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Carly Smith, who went 3-for-5 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.
Heritage hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their strikeout total in three consecutive matches.
Farragut's victory bumped their record up to 21-7-1. As for Heritage, their win bumped their record up to 19-7.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Tuesday. Farragut hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.8 home runs per game. However, it's not like Heritage struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 0.9 home runs.
