Soccer Game Preview: Monrovia vs. Cascade

Monrovia is 0-10 against Cascade since September of 2019 but things could change on Monday. The Bulldogs will challenge the Cadets at 7:00 p.m.

Things were looking good for Monrovia after they put the first goal on the board on Saturday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They lost 4-1 to Seven Oaks Classical. The match was a close 1-0 at the break, but unfortunately for Monrovia it sure didn't stay that way.

Meanwhile, Cascade entered their tilt with North Putnam on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 4-1 margin over the Cougars. The result was nothing new for Cascade, who have now won six contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Cascade's win bumped their record up to 8-6-1. As for Monrovia, their loss dropped their record down to 0-16.

Monrovia might still be hurting after the 9-0 defeat they got from Cascade in their previous matchup back in August. Can the Bulldogs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
