Basketball Recap: Hallsville Takes a Loss

Hallsville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a hard 45-31 fall against the Marshall Owls. The Indians were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Owls apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Hallsville's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Marshall, their win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-12.

Hallsville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 57-50 loss against Fulton on the 31st. Marshall has also already played their next game, a 59-48 defeat against Blair Oaks on the 1st.
