Soccer Game Preview: Life Christian Academy vs. Polk Christian Prep

The Life Christian Academy Lions will square off against the Polk Christian Prep Stars at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Life Christian Academy's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Last Tuesday, Life Christian Academy didn't have quite enough to beat Riverbend Academy and fell 2-1.

Meanwhile, Polk Christian Prep faced Florida College Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Stars came out on top in a nail-biter against the Falcons, sneaking past 4-3. It was an even better day for Jilacey Alvarado as she scored three goals for her team.

Polk Christian Prep now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Life Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Life Christian Academy suffered a grim 7-1 defeat to Polk Christian Prep in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Can the Lions avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
