Basketball Game Preview: Logansport Berries vs. Lafayette Jefferson Bronchos

The Logansport Berries will challenge the Lafayette Jefferson Bronchos at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Logansport is headed into the matchup having just posted their biggest win since December 6, 2024 on Friday. They put the hurt on Wabash with a sharp 56-31 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Berries.

Meanwhile, Lafayette Jefferson had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.8 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Saturday. They ended the year with a bang, routing the Kougars 61-40. The Bronchos have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 21 points or more this season.

Logansport's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-7. As for Lafayette Jefferson, their victory bumped their record up to 8-2.

Logansport was dealt a bruising 62-22 defeat at the hands of Lafayette Jefferson in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Logansport was down 35-10.
