Softball Recap: Ferndale Takes a Loss

Ferndale lost against Hoopa Valley back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wildcats lost 9-3 to the Warriors. The Wildcats just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

Ferndale saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rainy Rodriguez, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one double. Another was Caleigh Griffith, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.

Ferndale's record now sits at 3-7. As for Hoopa Valley, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-9.

While Ferndale had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
