Soccer Recap: California Takes a Loss

California was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the St. James Tigers.

California's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for St. James, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. California will challenge Crocker at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. California will be up against Crocker's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.64 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for St. James, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against St. Clair at 5:00 p.m. on May 5.
