Football Recap: Saint Ignatius College Prep Victorious

On Wednesday Saint Ignatius College Prep's undefeated season almost came to an end. They came within a single point of losing the streak, but they secured an 8-7 W against the Fenwick Friars.

Saint Ignatius College Prep didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Isabella Keberlein and Caroline Cole. Keberlein got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Saint Ignatius College Prep's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Fenwick, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-2.

Coincidentally, Saint Ignatius College Prep and Fenwick will both be playing St. Francis the next time they take the field. The Friars will head out to face the Spartans at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Wolfpack will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
