Football Recap: Bastrop Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Bastrop and Randle squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Bastrop had to settle for second. They were outmatched by the Lions and fell 83-20. While losing is never fun, the Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 134th, while the Lions are ranked seventh).

Randle's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tyler Skrabanek, who threw for 237 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes. Amari Louisville handled things on the ground, rushing for 83 yards and a rushing touchdown.

Bastrop's loss dropped their record down to 11-2. As for Randle, their record is now 13-0.

Bastrop does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Randle, they will square off against Iowa Colony at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Pioneers will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something the Lions surely won't give up without a fight.
