Clinton Prairie hasn't had much luck against Carroll recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. Clinton Prairie's victory was truly a team effort as seven different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Kye Jacobs, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. The dominant performance also gave Jacobs a new career-high in doubles (two). The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.4 runs over those games. As for Carroll, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-9.
