New Bern put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victors by a 24-0 margin over the Northside - Jacksonville Monarchs. Considering the Bears have won four contests by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Anna Champey was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.
