Volleyball Recap: Santa Ana Valley Comes Up Short

Santa Ana Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Oxford Academy Patriots. If the Falcons were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Patriots when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-5, 25-18.

Santa Ana Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Oxford Academy, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Santa Ana Valley will head out to square off against Orange at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Oxford Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Bolsa Grande on the 15th.
