Baseball Recap: Plainwell Snaps Eight-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Catholic Central, Plainwell was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Sturgis a 9-0 shutout. This was payback for Plainwell, who suffered a 3-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

Plainwell's victory ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 7-7. As for Sturgis, they dropped their record down to 1-11 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.
